Wireless charging - What is the Qi standard?
Battery empty, power supply forgotten and no suitable charging cable or power supply nearby? This problem could soon be forgotten, because the Qi standard for a wireless charge is increasingly installed in smartphones or tablets.
So it is sufficient to put the Qi-capable device on a corresponding Qi charging station. The battery is charged automatically by induction - without a cable connection. Charging devices in this way is easy and convenient. In addition, this does not cause any wear on the charging socket. For example, the principle has long been used in electric toothbrushes. The Qi standard used for a wireless charging ensures that all devices that support this standard can be charged with one and the same Qi charger. This standard also regulates the automatic monitoring and control of the charging process.
Newer smartphones now also support fast charging. Our DINIC Wireless Charger is backwards compatible and therefore supports all smartphones that support the Qi standard. Note: If your smartphone does not support wireless charging, this feature can be retrofitted to some devices via special charging cases. These combine the protection of the device with the convenient charging function.
